Out of respect to Dot, I am intentionally omitting her year of birth.

The photo attached by Mr. Dennis Barry is of Dot holding Monica, her firstborn. I just discovered last night (01/05/2023) that Monica was nicknamed "Cooky" when she was a little girl. There are a number of newspaper announcements where I discovered this. The references are obviously to Monica.

Dennis Barry is Dot's Nephew, through her Sister Virginia. Dot spoke of Virginia regularly.

Dot and Smiley got a marriage license in February 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. They had three daughters, Monica, Cindy, and one who is still living. I'm omitting her name for reasons of privacy.

Dot has many friends who appreciate and admire her although she hasn't been with us for several years. Dorothy is missed greatly.

She loved Jehovah deeply and was so pleased when her children and grandchildren developed a deep love for Him too.
