Rancho Mirage resident passed away after a lengthy illness. A graduate of Rush Medical School in Chicago, Illinois and had been associated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles since the 1930s. He served on the attending staff from 1948 to 1954. Mr. Harris was chairman of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Joseph was a member of the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors, the Hillcrest Country Club and was very active in Planned Parenthood of Greater Los Angeles. Services were held at the Leo Beck Temple.
