William C. Wallis

     NAMPA — Services for William C. Wallis, 76, of 727 Canyon, Nampa, who died unexpectedly at his home Sunday morning, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Alsip Chapel with the Rev. J. Sydney Carnes of Nampa First Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Kohlerlawn.

     He was born Sept. 9, 1891, at Perkins, Okla., where he was reared and attended schools. He married Floy Bybee on June 29, 1910, in Stillwater, Okla. They moved to Nampa in 1919 where he had since made his home. He had worked for the Nampa Highway Department for about 35 years.

     Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Floy Walls, Nampa; a son, Victor K. Wallis, Ogden, Utah; a brother, Delbert S. Wallis, Twin Falls; a sister, Mrs. Effie Schatz, Tonkawa, Okla.; a half-brother, Warren, Twin Falls; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter.
