He was the Dean of Business Administration for Menlo School and Junior College in California in 1949, and Treasurer and Business Manager of the school in 1952. In 1962, he became Vice President for Business Affairs of the American Colleges in Istanbul, Turkey, and was acting president from 1964 to 1966. He then became a consultant in college business administration.
