Mrs. Fritz (Alice) M. Carlson, age 89, of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, February 21, 1995, at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 25, 1995, at 11 a.m. from the Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church, Rockwood. Rev. Rodney Rixe will officiate with burial to follow at Kossuth No. 1 Cemetery, town of Kossuth.

The former Alice M. Eliason was born March 5, 1905, in Wakefield, Mich., daughter of the late John and Charlotte Nillson Eliason. She attended local schools. She was married to Fritz Carlson on November 9, 1933, at Salem Lutheran Church, Ironwood, Mich. Alice was employed at Wakefield, Mich., for many years as the evening chief operator for Michigan Bell Telephone. In later years she was employed at Kresge Department Store in Ironwood. Alice and Fritz lived in Ironwood, Mich., until 1986, when they moved to 416 Park Lane, Mishicot.

Survivors include her husband, Fritz, rural Whitelaw; one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Ken Tesarik, rural Whitelaw; three grandchildren, Steve (Carrie) Tesarik, rural Whitelaw, Susan Tesarik, Stevens Point, Michael Tesarik, rural Whitelaw; one great-granddaughter, Sheila Rose Tesarik, rural Whitelaw, Alice was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call at the Rockwood Ev. Lutheran Church on Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, assisted the family with the funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank the Fourth Floor staff of Shady Lane Home for their care and concern of Alice in the past nine months; it was appreciated.
