H. Francis Quagan, 90, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of Betty–Lou (Fortune) Quagan.

Born in Taunton MA, he was a son of the late John F. and Lena (Dion) Quagan.

He was a graduate of the Monsignor Coyle High School in Taunton, and the Vesper George School of Art, Boston. He worked at the George T. Metcalf Advertising Company for 17 years before forming his own advertising/art agency, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Boston Art Directors and the Providence Art Directors' Club and served on the board of directors for the Warwick Boys Club in its beginning. A WWII Army Air Force Veteran, he served with the 15th Air Force in Italy, flying 26 missions over Germany. He was shot down on his 13th mission and after spending a month with a Russian family, he returned to fly 13 more missions. He was awarded the Purple Heart and 3 Air Force Air Medals. His squadron received the Presidential Unit Citation.

He was the father of Rosemary Quagan (Hugh F. Donohue), David F. Quagan (Sharon R. Darak), Laura A. Garrison (Gregory), Bethany E. Davis (Jeffrey), and John T. Quagan; grandfather of Kerri, Kayla, Amanda, Gabrielle, Mackenzie, Landon, Lilia, and Maggie. He was also the brother of the late Richard Quagan, Madeline Woodward, and Barbara Parker.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015, 9-10:30 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Avenue. Burial will private.
