OBIT 1:

Funeral and burial services were to be held today at Portland, Oregon, for Mrs. Mayme [Mary] Vogler Miller, 67, former Hope resident, who died at a hospital there Friday She had been a resident of Portland since her marriage in 1892 and was the widow of Edward Miller.

Mrs. Miller had been in ill health for almost a year and death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. She visited relatives at Hope from April to the last of July this year and three days after her return home was stricken and entered the hospital.

She was born November 5, 1873, 2 1/2 miles east of Hope, the daughter of the late Louis and Roseltha Lee Vogler. She married Mr. Miller in 1892. He died two years ago.

Survivors include two children, Mrs. Earl Van Pool of San Francisco and Robert Miller of Silverton, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. William Kennedy of Anderson, Mrs. L. M. Homsher of Franklin and Miss Lucy Vogler of Hope, and two brothers, William Vogler and L. M. Vogler of Indianapolis.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Hope Moravia Church during her early life, but later affiliated with St. David's Episcopal Church at Portland

Homsher, Lewis Marshall and William Vogler. Friends invited to attend funeral services Monday 2 P.M. at St. David’s Episcopal Church. Vault interment Lincoln Memorial Park. Deceased was a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church. Arrangements in care of Holman & Lutz Colonial Mortuary, NE 14th and Sandy Blvd.
