The funeral of Mrs. Maria Jordan Bostick, mother of Samuel Bostick, will be held at the Elkville A. M. E. Zion church Wednesday, July 28, at 11 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Bostick cemetery, Mrs. Bostick has been a resident of Illinois for 61 years. She leaves seven children. Mrs. Bostick passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lilly Claybrooks at Elkville, following an illness of three months, suffering from paralysis. Rev. G. H. Hamilton will officiate at the services.
