Virginia worked with her father as a secretary in his insurance agency. She enjoyed needlepoint and jigsaw puzzles, but her favorite activity was golf. She was a member of the Lady Elks and the St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton, in 2006 and daughter, Janet Carter, in 2011.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, with family receiving friends from 4-6 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N Eighth, Salina.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the mortuary, with burial following in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
Memorials are to Gulf Coast Kid’s House of Pensacola, Fla. or The Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Kan.
