Edward Eugene Eades, 87, died at his home in Selah on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

Edward was born in Sheridan, Oregon to Jessie and Mabel Eades on January 2, 1928. Edward was married three times and had one son by his second marriage. He then married Mattie Sue Lee in 1965 and they had three children, Edward William Eades, Clifford Lee Eades and his wife, Dawn and Margie O. Eades. He also served in the U.S. Army in the Phillipines.


Edward worked at Boise Cascade Mill for 30 years as a millwright, and then went to work at PSI as panel inspector for ten years at Boise Mill. He and Mattie celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on November 5, 2015.

Ed enjoyed wood cutting, hunting and fishing and WWF wrestling on TV.


Besides his wife Mattie and his three children, he is survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.


Viewing will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Services will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at West Hills Memorial Park.
