Gloria Kersh, of West Columbia passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010, in Houston.
She was born November 4, 1928 in Beaumont to John Taylor Kane and Irene Monteau Kane of High Island.
Gloria is survived by her four children, Joel Kersh, James Kersh and his wife Beverly, Tim Kersh and his wife Donna, Patricia Adams and her husband Jimmy; seven grandchildren, James, Adrian, Lauri, Laurel, John, Matt, Leah; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, John and Teddy Kane; sisters, Rosa Lee Stone and Irene Merchant and numerous relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Kersh, and sister, Annabelle Nicar.
A memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Winnie, with Reverend Kenneth Hodges officiating.
