June M. Ballard, 61, 155 Waldron Road, died Thursday in Bellingham. She was born Aug 21, 1925, in Bellingham and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Ballard was a past president and state officer of the Ladies Auxiliary, National Association of Letter Carriers.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell G. Ballard of the family home; a son Steven Ballard of Bellingham; a daughter Barbara Crnich; four grandchildren; her mother Annie Hansen of Bellingham; a sister Arleene Olund of Lynden; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday in the chapel of the Westford Funeral Home, the Rev. Dennis Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Whatcom County Visiting Home Nurses, Bellingham, WA or the American Cancer Society.
