Ricky Lee Jones, 42 years, 9 months and 2 days of age, of Centerville, Indiana, departed this life on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 at his home following a brief illness.
Ricky was born in Richmond, Indiana on February 9th, 1973, son of the late John F. "Jack" Jones and Carolyn Anabeth "Beth" Myers Jones. Ricky graduated from Centerville High School in 1991. Ricky was employed by Gillman’s Home Center in Centerville and had formerly worked at D&S Automotive. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with family and friends.
Ricky was survived by one brother, Randy Jones of Centerville, Indiana; an aunt, Jane (and Norman) Snell of Bay Minette, Alabama; an uncle, John Myers of Georgetown, Illinois; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Jones, who departed this life on March 19th, 1996 and Beth Jones, who departed this life on June 19th, 2011.
Visitations were held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City, Indiana.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 in the Chapel of the Smith-McQuiston Funeral Home.
In accordance with Ricky's wishes cremation services were preformed.
