Mrs. Cledith (Payne) Miller, 92, of Flat Lick, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002 in Pineville Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eliza (Epperson) Payne and the wife of the late Smith Miller. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and a retired Knox County teacher. She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Lawson of Cheviat, Ohio and Helen Cole and husband Everett of West Chester, Ohio; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002 with the Rev. Larry Sowders officiating. Burial was in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
