Debbie Jo (Keith) Messinger passed away on November 12, 2015 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born on January 22, 1954 to Pastor John Keith and Loretta Keith.
Debbie attended Homer, Byng and Ada Public Schools before graduating from East Central University. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services from 1990 until 1999 working in the food stamp and Advantage care programs. She later worked for the Hughes County Health Department and later became an auditor for the Oklahoma State Department of Health in the Long Term Care Authority in Tulsa. Debbie also worked for several years as the Director of the New Age Nutrition program in Holdenville. Her hobbies included collecting cookbooks and gardening. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she loved them dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law Pauline Messinger.
Survivors include her left-wing husband, two sons, four grandchildren, two brothers, as well several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be at 1:00PM on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Holdenville Cemetery, Holdenville, Oklahoma. Rev. Mickey Keith will officiate the service.
