Born in Clarks Valley, October 27, 1923, a son of the late John and Verna Stutzman Adams.
Dick was a 1941 graduate of the former Porter-Tower High School
He was a Army Veteran and was also retired from the Army National Guard.
He retired as a small arms repairman at Ft. Indiantown Gap.
He was of the Protestant faith; a member of the Swatara Lodge #267 F&AM, Tremont; Harrisburg Consistory; a life member of the Orwin Fire Company; Dick was also a former volunteer driver for the Tower Porter EMS.
Dick enjoyed spending time with family; he was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren; He enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether hunting or just taking care of his property.
He was predeceased by four sisters and one brother.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth "Dolly" Adams Adams.
