Flavious was the son of Oscar P. and Mattie L. (Allred) Brower. He married Pearl Kivett in 1927 and they were the parents of six children: Seth Flavious, Lena Gray, David Clifford, William Ross Odell, Ronald Lee and Jimmie Alton.

STALEY - Flavious A. Brower, 95, formerly of 7322 Willard Road, died Monday, April 28, 1997, at Country Forest Manor.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
