Esther Eiline Adams Sears, 94, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004 in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Todd County, Aug. 21, 1910, to the late John William Edward Adams and Cordilla Belle Wolf Adams, she was a member of Collier Springs Baptist Church in Elkton and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Wesley Sears in 1995. Survivors include a brother, Amos Adams of McDaniels, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Martha Ann Riggs of Louisville; and a stepson, Wilbur Sears of Evansville, Ind. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m, Oct. 12 at Gary’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary McAbee officiating. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
