Orville was the Son of Jesse Elmer and Hattie Jane Carraway. In the year 1910, Orville Married Georgia Enold Holliday, Georgia was the Daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Jennie M. (Stanley) Holliday. Orville and Georgia had one Son together, his name was Orville Leon Carraway, who died on Feb./8/1993 in Los Angeles California. In 1923, this family moved to California for the purpose of benefiting the health of their Son Orville Leon. Their first residence after arriving in California was established in Montebello, while here, Orville was employed at the Central School, where he was a companion to, and dearly loved by all the children. Orville then moved to Belleflower California where he secured work in the oil fields, and was employed there during the remainder of his life. Orville was taken to a nearby Hospital and was operated on for appendicitis, it was thought for a time that he was doing nicely but on Sunday morning, November/ 28 /1926, Orville passed away at the age of 38 years old. Orville was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the services were held in the Masonic Temple.
