He was an employee of Caterpillar Tractor Co.
He was born Dec. 10, 1892 in Iron River, Mich., a son of Andrew and Betty (Carlson) Erickson. He married Mary Ellen Applegren in Peoria June 25, 1930. She died June 2, 1965.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Joan) Clayton; one son, Michael E. Erickson; and two brothers, Oscar of Peoria and Charles of Los Angeles.
He was an Army veteran of World War I.
