Born in Guelth, Ontario, Canada, the son of John H. and Louisa Stevens Aldridge. He retired in 1963 as treasurer of the Chicago Northwester Railroad. He was survived by his wife Hildur; two daughters, Louise Aldridge and Mrs. Dorothy Alford; a brother Alfred and a sister Mrs. Helen Bolger.
