Mrs. Zelma Lea Hightower, age 75, of Melbourne, died Saturday, December 1, 1973, in the Calico Rock hospital.
She was a housewife; had taught school in Izard County and been associate with her husband in a grocery business for 35 yrs.
Survivors include four brothers, Ezra Helm of Melbourne; Orgil Helm, Jesse Helm, and Escol Helm, all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Kidwell and Mrs. Erlene Hightower of Manteca, California.
Funeral service was Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1973, in the Melbourne Church of Christ, with Jack Wood Sears and Bill Jones officiating. Burial in the Violet Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Crouch Funeral home.
Pallbearers were: Jim Helm, Charles Helm, Bob Helm, Bill Helm, David Helm, and Bruce Helm, all nephews of the deceased.
