Phillip P. Wilms, 71 of Springdale died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 in Fayetteville.
He was born Oct. 23, 1944 in San Bernardino, Calif. the son of John and Barbara Wilms.
He was a member of the All-American Soap Box Derby Association, A volunteer with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's City of Industry Youth Activities League volunteered for and loved Fontana Steelers Football.
He married the former Barbara McConville on June 14, 1968 in Rialto, Calif. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul A. Wilms.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Barbara Wilms of the home; Tracy Ann Birkes of Springdale and five grandchildren, Jacob, Chad and Jenna Birkes, Jazmyne and Kyle Wilms.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
