Emily L. Bolinski (nee Buchanan), age 95, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2015 at home.
She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late John and Sadie Buchanan. Emily was a 1940 graduate of Wilmington High School. Her hobbies included sewing and crocheting.
Emily was preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Bolinski. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy A. Bolinski and Sandra M. Bolinski Crites (Terry) and her niece and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 AM in the McCrery and Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808, where a celebration of Emily's life will begin at 11 AM. Interment will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice of Newark for the excellent care that they provided to Emily during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of DE or the Epilepsy Foundation of DE.
