He was born April 7, 1940 in Houston, the son of Karnes and Vernon Agnes Moody Forehand.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Lynn Forehand.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Forehand; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Ruth Forehand of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Quentin Purvis of Livingston; grandsons, Zachary Forehand and Blake Vestal; granddaughters, Lydia Forehand and Chelsea Vestal; mother-in-law, Frances Schaffer of Pennsylvania and brother-in-law and wife, Gary and Lynne Schaffer of Pennsylvania.
