Pueblo Chieftain - March 06, 2006 - Juan R. Alires, 86, of Pueblo, went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marinita Alires; son, Ricardo Alires; parents, Jose and Wilma Alires; and grandson, Ricardo Alires Jr. He is survived by his children, Maria (Floyd) Gallegos, Luis (Lucille) Alires, Consuelo (Jose) Chavez and Barbara (David) Alires Palomarez; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; aunt, Elvira Ortega; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends. Viewing, 2 to 4 p.m. today at Romero Chapel with Vigil service to follow at 6 p.m., at St. Anne Church. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne Church. Interment to follow at Imperial Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received at St. Anne Hall after both services. Military honors by Pueblo Veteran's Ritual Team.
