Barbara Jean Lowe longtime resident of West Chicago Funeral services for Barbara Jean Lowe (nee Dunn), 68, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at William-Woodward Funeral Home, 820 Pine St. (Route 59 and Pine St.), West Chicago. Born Dec. 19, 1935, in Knoxville, Tenn., and raised in Tennessee, she died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva. Barbara was the beloved wife of Alvin "Mack" Lowe; loving mother of Mickey L. (Susan) Lowe and Jeff (Cathy) Lowe; fond grandmother of Jenna, Nathan, Leah, Ryan and Emma; dear sister of John M. (Nancy) Dunn and the late W.H. and Edward Dunn; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; and devoted daughter of the late William H. and Willie S. Dunn. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 33105.
