News of the death of Reeves L. Murphy, former Laramie resident, in Camden, N. J., was received in a telegram early this morning to his wife at the Murphy home, 157 West Fremont street.
No particulars were contained in the message. The information was sent by Mrs. Thomas McComb of Winona [sic-Wenonah], N.J., a cousin of Mr. Murphy.
Mr. Murphy left for the east last spring after serving several years as a member of the city police force.
Mrs. Murphy will be unable to attend the funeral, which will probably be held in Camden, she said."
