JESSE R. HEMPHILL: Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. Mr. Hemphill, 65, of 4455 Westmont, retired truck driver for Gordons Transports, Inc., died Friday at Methodist Hospital South. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Schwanda Hemphill; a daughter, Mrs. Becky Donaldson of Jackson, Miss.; two sons, Nelson R. Hemphill of Athens, Ga. and Phillip W. Hemphill of Mendenhall, Miss.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Marlyn Russell of Merritt Island, Fla., and Mrs. Fay Scott of Memphis; three stepsons, J.C. Harrison of Pontotoc, Miss., David Miller of Memphis, and Larry Miller of Knoxville; four sisters, Mrs. Vernon Holcomb, Mrs. Vernon Tucker and Mrs. Audrey Spencer, all of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Lee Reynolds of Florence, Miss.; three brothers, James Hemphill of Florence, Aubrey Hemphill of Jackson, Miss., and Robert Hemphill of Brandon, Miss., and nine grandchildren.
