John Charles Pinkston, 64, of Rowland Heights Calif, formerly of Memphis, 20 year former employee with White Rose Industrial Laundry of Memphis, died Friday in Pomona, Calif. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. Treadwell-Norris, Cosmopolitan Union Avenue Chapel has charge. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Vernice Pinkston, three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Matthews of Rowland Heights, Mrs. Nadine Hardy of Memphis, and Mrs. Jenette Howell of Malden, Mo.; three sons, David C Sommer of Southaven, John Wayne Pinkston and James Waylen Pinkston, both of Memphis, and three brothers, Barto W Pinkston of Memphis, Simon L Pinkston of Norman, Okla., and Kernal L Pinkston of Benton Harbor, Mich.; 20 grandchildren, and a great grandson.
