William A. Greene
William A. Greene died Tuesday morning, at his residence on South High Street, in the 72nd year of his age. Mr. Greene was born in Griswold, Conn., and removed to Western Pennsylvania in the early 60's, locating in Pithole, and afterwards moving to Chicora, Butler county, where he remained until his removal to Greenville, about six years ago. He was highly esteemed and his death is learned of with sorrow.
Mr. Greene is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Barber and Miss Ella Greene, of Griswold, Conn., and one son, W.S. Greene, of Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 o'clock, Thursday; interment in Shenango Valley cemetery.
