BARTOLOME CLARIDAD Bartolome Lagda Claridad, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015.
He was born Aug. 24, 1937, in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
Bartolome was a long-time resident of Hawaii.
He retired from the Hilton Hawaiian Village after 30 plus years of service.
Upon his retirement, he moved to Las Vegas, in the 90s.
Whether it was in Hawaii or in Las Vegas, he was always a handy man, had many home projects and his favorite store was Home Depot.
If he wasn't doing home projects, he would go on his miles and miles of walking to keep himself in shape.
Bartolome was preceded in death by his sister, Puricima Cadacio.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Janet;
his daughter,
Zelda (Jerry) Medina of Hawaii;
sons,
Bart
and Dale;
sisters,
Lourdes Saludares of the Philippines,
and Genie Madamba of California;
three grandchildren,
one great-granddaughter;
along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Services will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., with a Rosary prayer at noon, Friday, Nov. 20, at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 Eastern Ave., Las Vegas. Burial to follow.
