March 16, 1959:
Edwin Clare Noe, 41, suffered a fatal heart attack Saturday night while driving into his home at 1555 East Lugonia avenue. He slumped at the wheel and his car went off the driveway striking an orange tree. He was found in the car Sunday morning by his wife. A native of Kansas he had lived in Redlands for the past six years, pursuing his trade as a tile I setter.
Edwin is survived by his wife Anna Marie Noe, of Redlands and the following children: Jed, Lee, Tim and Don all of Redlands. Also his mother, Mrs. Harriett Noe of Horton, Kansas and the following brother and sisters: Warden L. Noe of Horton, Kansas, Mrs. Henry Lading, Mrs. West McManigal of Horton, Kansas.
Services will be held Thursday morning at 11 in Emmerson's Redlands mortuary with Pastor Ray E. Johnson and Pastor John D. Foerster in charge. Interment will be in Montecito cemetery.
