Mrs. Emil (Mathilda) Braun 92, of Route 2, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Kossuth Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Braun, nee Mathilda Diegel was born Nov. 14, 1885 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Caroline Nieman Diegel. She was married Emil Braun Sept. 28, 1909. The couple then resided on the Braun homestead farm. Her husband preceded her in death June 20 1934.
Survivors include a son, Eugene and a daughter, Eunice of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Lonzo of Manitowoc and Mrs. Linda Jacobson of Petaluma, Calif.; nieces and nephews. A son, Earl, died in 1967.
Friends may call in Saur Funeral Home after 4 pm Tuesday and Wednesday until the time of service.
