E. W. Henington, Sr. Dies at Age 86

Sweetwater - E. W. Henington, Sr., 86, longtime Longworth community farmer and more recently a

resident of Sweetwater at 305 E. Arkansas, died at 5:55 a.m. Monday at Simmons Memorial Hospital after an illness of two weeks.

Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Lamar St. Church of Christ. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 13, 1887 [sic] in Milam County, he moved to Longworth in Fisher County in 1928. He retired in 1950 and moved to Sweetwater. Mrs. Henington died in 1946. He has been living with a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Carey.

Survivors include four sons, E. W. and C. F., both of Longworth, E. P. of Southgate, Calif., and L. G. of Sweetwater; three daughters, Mrs. Leta Smith of Fort Worth, Mrs. Lillian Sellers of Seagraves and Mrs. Carey of Sweetwater.
