Diane Fern Cayler, 65, of Cheyenne died Nov. 14 in Billings, Mont.

She was born Dec. 15, 1949, in Republic, Wash., to Jimmie and Fern Almquist.

She graduated from Republic High School in 1968 and attended the University of Eastern Washington before moving to Cheyenne.

She married Alan Cunningham in 1970 and had three children, Julie, Deanna and Andrew Cunningham.

She later divorced and married Robert Cayler in Cheyenne in 1980, gaining two more children, Michele and John Cayler.

She worked various retail jobs in the cities of Robert's U.S. Air Force assignments.

She enjoyed travel and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed quilting, reading, sewing and knitting as well as horseback riding and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Bob of Cheyenne; daughter, Julie Cunningham of Nashville, Tenn.; son, Andrew Cunningham of Cheyenne; stepdaughter, Michele Owens of Hendersonville, Tenn.; stepson, John Cayler; four grandsons and two granddaughters; brother, Norm Almquist; sisters, Irene Whipple, Rosalie Morse and Rose Running; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Cunningham; parents, Jim and Fern Almquist; brother, Rod Almquist; and nephew, Rod Stonehocker.
