Dorothy McNeal, 87, of Clyde died Saturday, 3/04/2006, in the Clyde Nursing Center.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, 3/07/2006, in the Cate-Spencer and Trent Funeral Home chapel in Sweetwater with the Rev. Orvel Brantley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mrs. McNeal was born on 10/19/1918, in Sweetwater. She married Walter Burk McNeal on 2/01/1936, in Sweetwater. She worked as a waitress for Al's Cafe before retiring.
Survivors include one son, Bobby McNeal and his wife, Frances, of Breckenridge; four brothers, Clyde Wilson of Houston, Orvil Wilson of Robstown, Murrell Wilson of Wichita Falls and LeRoy Wilson of Tyler; three sisters, Jewell Mayrant of Huntsville, Bonnie Holland of Raymondsville, and Imajean Bass of Wichita Falls; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Burk McNeal, on 3/16/1983; and one son, Donny McNeal, on 2/24/1987.
Pallbearers were B.J. McNeal, Brian McNeal, Patrick Kamer and Timmy Kamer.
