Gay Jordan, 82, of Bauxite, Arkansas went to be with her Lord November 19, 2015. She was born in Biscoe, Arkansas to the late Alvin and Irene Winters Gipson.

Gay was the founder of Jordan’s BBQ, which opened in 1985. She was a member of Apostolic Christian Center. Her favorite hobbies were her grandchildren and attending church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Jordan.

Gay leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Sherry Hardin and husband Mike and Renee Bentley and husband Mark; son, Gary Jordan and wife Paula; ten grandchildren-Gayanne Coleman, Aron Pagan and husband Nick, Keith Trent and wife Nicole, Summer Knight and husband Jason, Amber Bentley, Matt Bentley, Asia Collins and husband Dennis, Lori Johnson and husband Brian, Westley Jordan, Heather Stivers and husband Josh; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Gipson; two sisters, Billie Ann Jones, Joyce Stewart and husband Sonny; and many other relatives and friends who loved Gay and will miss her always.

Reception visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Monday, November 23, 2015 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas 72015. Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Mike Hardin and Bro. Scott McElroy, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park assisted by Westley Jordan, Colton Johnson, Keith Trent, Matt Bentley,

Jared Coleman, Joshua Perry, Garrett Johnson, Jordan Coleman and Peyton Perry serving as pallbearers.
