Richard A. Coon, 59, died in his home at Galt yesterday following a brief illness.
Mr. Coon was a native of Illinois and had been a Galt area resident for three years. He operated the B.& M. Market on Highway 99 near Collier rd.
He was a member of the Elk Lodge in Albuquerque.
Surviving are his wife, Alma, Galt; two children: Mrs. Betty Robique, Sacramento; and Richard A. Coon Jr.; one sister, Mrs. Eve Weddle, Champaign, Ill.
Interment in Cherokee Memorial Park
