Mrs. Maxine Elizabeth Moffett Fraser, 81, died Friday Dec. 30, 1994, at the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, 10 a.m., at the Oakes & Nichols Funeral home with the Rev. Homer Dee Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends after 4 p.m., at the funeral home.

She was a resident of Mockingbird Drive and the widow of the late William Coggin Fraser. She was retired co-owner and operator of Fraser's Restaurant on North Garden Street, former co-operator of CMA Cafeteria for several years and former owner and operator of the Greyhound Bus Station Cafeteria in Columbia for several years. A Native of Jefferson County, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Stewart and Alma Elizabeth Goza Moffett. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Elizabeth) Lyons of Memphis and Mrs. Joe (Donna) Johns of Columbia; three grandchildren, Michael Joe Johns of Columbia, Sohn Christopher Lyons and William Randall Brown both of Memphis; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Fred Chappell Jim Dooley, Jeff Dooley, Micahel Johns, Randy Brown, J.B. Blair, James Ray Fraser, harold Holt, Ricky Lyons and Bill Denton.
