Forrest Allan Hawkins, 86, of Beeville, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009. He was born March 9, 1923, in Brownwood, to the late William A. Hawkins and Eva Bell Densman. He was a veteran serving in the Marines from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of Skidmore First Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.
He is survived by wife, Thelma Horton Slayton Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Niva Hawkins. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m., today, at Galloway and Son Funeral Home in Beeville. Funeral service will be Monday, July 20, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Skidmore with burial at Seaside Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
