Thomas Alexander came to the USA in 1904 through Ellis Island, on the ship Columbia. He was born on Cargans, Armagh, Ireland the son of a farmer. His parents were Thomas Alexander and Mary Anne Greenaway. His granfather was also Thomas Alexander (my brother is the last Thomas Alexander in a row.....he is the 7th or 8th one).
This Thomas gave up farming here in America to become a carpenter, he also helped work on the railways.
He spent his life in New York, New York.
