George Krasnosky, Sr. married Theresa Ann Nascak in 1904. George was an inventor and held multiple patents in Austria, Canada, and the USA. He held a patent in Austria for a collapsible scaffold. His most notable patent was for the flexible wooden sole sandals. He had a shoe factory and two shoe stores. The sandals were custom fit at time of purchase. Once you selected your size, put on you sandal, the leather strap was nailed in to place. During World War II, it was difficult to obtain leather and the special wood. George was also a carpenter and custom made the cabinets for the sixth story San Carlos Hotel that once stood in downtown Pensacola, Florida.
