Mrs. Philip Etheridge, 82, has died. Burial in Maple Hill cemetery. Mr. Etheridge died Nov. 25,1954. Gertrude was the daughter of Frank and Mary Smith born Feb. 24,1876 in Ellery, Edwards co. On Oct. 21, 1896 she married Phillip L. Etheridge. They had six children. She leaves two sons, Virgil and Frank, both of Fairfield and four daughters, Mrs. Fred O'Neal, Mrs. Noble Pottorff and Mrs. John Holmes all of Fairfield, and Mrs. Bryan Moore of Bloomington, Ind. and one brother Thomas Smith of Ellery.
