Jason “Sliz” Smith, 38, of Weddington, NC ended his earthly journey Thursday, May 28, 2015. He is now at peace after struggling with numerous medical conditions over the past years.
Jason was surrounded his last few days by his loving family and numerous friends he had made since moving to the Charlotte area in 1989.
Jason is preceded in death by his father James E. Smith, Jr. He is survived by his mother Linda Allessio; step father John Allessio; sister Heather Stohlmann and husband David; Nephew Christian Stohlmann; Niece Caroline Stohlmann; step brother Paul Allessio and wife Ashleigh.
Visitation will take place at Heritage Funeral Home, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6 to 8PM.
Interment will be held in Virginia where he will be laid to rest beside his father.
