Florist. Since 1920, after the death of his brother Angelo, he took charge of Podesta Baldocchi Florist on Grant Avenue (Union Square). The florist was started in 1903 and became known the world over and known as "America's most famous florist" after a scene from the movie "Vertigo" with James Stewart & Kim Novak was filmed in their shop.
