Actor. He was born Michael Gill, on December 20, 1922. He lived in England and Australia, and served in the Australian army during World War II. He later changed his name to Michael St. Clair, and became a Naturalized, U.S. citizen in Los Angeles, California in 1971. Michael was in 32 films and TV shows from 1960 to 1988. He also wrote two films in 1968 and 1969. He was a presenter on the January 29, 1952 episode of "The Services Show". Among his film appearances were: "The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze"(1963) as First mate, "My Fair Lady"(1964), "Von Ryan's Express"(1965) as Sgt. Dunbar, "Our Man Flint"(1966) as Hans Gruber, and "Thoroughly Modern Millie"(1967) as Baron Richter. Among his TV credits were "Thriller","77 Sunset Strip", "Combat!", "12 O'Clock High", "Daniel Boone", "Hogan's Heroes", "Mission: Impossible", "Get Smart", The Time Tunnel", "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." and "The Rockford Files". In later years, he continued entertaining people, whether they were paid jobs or performing for free at a senior center. He was stricken with an apparent brain aneurysm while driving to an audition. Michael St. Clair died November 22, 2001, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He was 79.
