Linda Sue Turner, 66 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died November 23, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. Born March 25, 1949 in Cambridge, Ohio, she was the daughter of Layton Johnston and Vivian (Lawson) Johnston. Linda lived most of her life in Delaware County, Oklahoma, before moving to Siloam Springs in 1996. She worked at Brand Rex for 13 years. Linda also worked as a manager for the Salvation Army in Siloam Springs. She married Melvin Don Turner on July 7, 2002. Linda was of the Baptist faith and attended Church at the Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Vannie Buck.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Turner; one son, Layton Buck and wife Diane of Colcord, Oklahoma; one daughter, Anita Gilbreth and husband Benjerman of Ozark, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Colton Buck of Colcord, Christian Morales of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Haylee Buck of Colcord, and Declan Gilbreth of Ozark; and one brother, David Hoit of Cambridge, Ohio.
Pallbearers for the service will be Douglas Buck May, Nick Turner, Ronnie D. Buck, Ronnie J. Buck, Ray Dee Duncan, and Bobby Buck. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Gilbreth, David Buck, Gerald Buck, Adam Turner, Roger Buck, Rick Buck and Randy Buck.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Bro. Greg Baskin officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs
