William Jett, a brother-in-law of W M Linton, while walking on the railroad near Fortner's crossing last Friday, was run over by No 3 and killed instantly. His remains were taken in charge by W M and W I Linton and interred at the Protestant Cemetery. Rev W A McCain conducted the funeral services. The Tribune-Gazette, in behalf of the community, extends sympathy to the friends and relatives of the deceased.
