R&B Singer. Born Richard Edgar Owens. He is better known as the first tenor and lead singer of the musical group The Vibrations. He was hired by The Temptations to replace Eddie Kendricks in 1971. He played two dates with the group before he was fired forgetting the words to his solo numbers, he then returned to The Vibrations. Some of his recordings are "The Watusi", "Peanut Butter" and "My Girl Sloopy". The Vibrations recorded until 1974.
